I am a PhD student, currently studying how aspects of the visual scene in which a predator forages can affect their ability to attend to desired prey. I am particularly interested in how 'complexity' (i.e. degree of feature variance) within natural scenes might serve to better conceal and protect prey.

I studied for an undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol, where I continued to complete a Masters by Research, focusing on how distractive camouflage can affect predator recognition.
