My research focuses on the neural mechanisms of visual perception, the influence of cognitive processes on visual perception, and the degree to which computational principles within the visual system translate to other sense modalities. I use neuroimaging methods (fMRI and intracranial EEG), psychophysics, and computational modeling to understand the mechanisms underlying cognition and perception.
